Job Description

    Currently, we are in search of a skilled PHP Developer (Magento) who will be in charge of handling back-end development responsibilities. The main objective will be to create and maintain server-side logic, manage the central database, and ensure optimal performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additionally, you will play a vital role in integrating the front-end components developed by your colleagues into the application. As a result, having a fundamental understanding of front-end technologies is also required.


Responsibilities

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable Magento modules
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications & web sites on the Magento platform.
  • Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
  • Participate in project & deployment planning.
  • Develop Magento plugins based on requirements.
  • Work on Magento integration with external systems, viz CMS/CRM/ERP/Payment/Shipping etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with developers on the team.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to e-commerce implementation of Magento.


Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks / platforms (Magento, Zend)
  • Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
  • Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Magento certificate is a big plus
